An epic ride to support an amazing cause.
Come spend a day in the saddle and ride one of the best gravel routes in the greater Boise area! The Jackass Grinder brings friends and family together to ride for an amazing cause. Two course lengths and a free kids ride offer something for everyone. In true Idaho fashion, a loaded potato bar is included with your entry. The raffle is over the top with all kinds of great prizes, including a chance to win a Corvette. This is the inaugural year for the Jackass Grinder which promises to become a Boise classic!
All proceeds for this ride go directly to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation!
How is this possible? With your participation and Sponsors (please be sure to thank them!).
Riding the jackass is no joke! This course has all the challenges for those looking to push themselves. The course starts off at a trot and once you are good and warmed up, really starts to buck at mile 33. Four fully supported aid stations allow for rest and replenishment along the way (don't want to get saddle sore...) At the end of the day, you can proudly say you rode the jackass!!!
Looking for a tamer, shorter ride? Than the burro is for you. With just enough of a kick, the burro will make time in the saddle worth it. One fully stocked aid station will replenish you before you head back to the barn!
The burrito is the perfect way for kids to get a taste of the gravel scene. One loop around the expo and they will be hungry for more!

3.4 miles north of Eagle Rd and Beacon Light Rd.
Eagle Rd becomes Willow Creek Rd.
